1. Preamble: The Foundation of Service
This Professional Code of Conduct defines the standards of behavior required of all individuals representing The Parishelter Foundation. Our mission to elevate humanity requires unwavering commitment to integrity, grace and accountability.
2. Integrity in Interaction
- Dignity and Grace toward every beneficiary, colleague and partner.
- Maintain clear professional boundaries at all times.
- All interactions, especially involving children, must occur in open and transparent settings.
3. Ethical Stewardship of Power
- Zero tolerance for Sexual Exploitation and Abuse.
- All conflicts of interest must be disclosed immediately.
- Support must be delivered based solely on need.
4. Digital and Media Ethics
- Written informed consent required before using photos, videos or testimonials.
- No exploitative imagery.
- Strict confidentiality of all data.
5. Safety and Child Protection
- The best interests of the child are paramount.
- Any suspected harm or misconduct must be reported immediately.
6. Compliance and Accountability
Violation of this code may result in disciplinary action, termination of association, and referral to legal authorities where necessary.

- Two-Adult Rule applies in all interactions with minors.
- Safe recruitment and background checks required.
4. Mandatory Reporting & Response
All safeguarding concerns must be reported immediately. Initial assessments begin within 24–48 hours.
Privacy & Data Protection Policy
We are committed to protecting privacy and handling personal information with dignity, respect and transparency.
- Information is collected only for support, volunteering, partnership or service coordination.
- Data is accessible only to authorized personnel.
- We do not sell or trade personal information.
- Stories, images or testimonials require explicit consent.
- Data is securely stored and deleted when no longer required.
